What's in a name?

Jesus was given lots of names - such as Emmanuel, Lord of Lords, King of the Jews, Wonderful Counsellor, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.  What is the significance of such names...and what name might we be given?  To read my sermon to the 2018 Community Carol Service (with Havant Rotary Club) please click here.

The Meanings of the Atonement

This morning we grappled with Jeremiah's teachings about a new Covenant, the Writer to the Hebrews description of Jesus as a 'priest forever in the order of Melchizedek, and John's recording of Jesus' ideas about the significance of his own death.  It was all terribly theological!  I did my best to cut through all the complex theology, with this sermon on the Atonement.  Do let me know whether it helped you!  Please click here to read it.
